On July 17, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held a symposium on optimizing agricultural administrative approval services in Changzhi City, Shanxi Province. The meeting deeply studied and implemented the important speech spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the sixth meeting of the Central Financial and Economic Affairs Commission and the important instructions spirit during his inspection in Shanxi, and discussed how to do well in agricultural administrative approval work under the new situation. The meeting also emphasized the importance of continuing to implement the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulation through learning and education and listening to opinions and suggestions. The meeting pointed out that in recent years, agricultural and rural departments at all levels have comprehensively implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, continuously deepened the reform of administrative approval system, and significantly improved the standardization, normalization, and facilitation level of agricultural approval services. It urged for the solid promotion of rural revitalization, accelerated construction of an agricultural powerhouse, and the establishment of a service-oriented government to effectively stimulate the vitality of production and operation entities, presenting higher requirements for optimizing agricultural approval services. The meeting required that agricultural and rural departments at all levels adhere to the development ideology of putting people at the center, taking the convenience and benefit of enterprises and people as the fundamental starting point and foothold of administrative approval work. It called for strengthening both strategic planning and details, improving both hardware and software, continuously improving institutional mechanisms, innovating work measures, actively applying new technologies and methods, and refining a strong work style through fulfilling responsibilities. Efforts should be made to promote the agricultural approval service to a new level, continuously enhance the satisfaction and sense of achievement of enterprises and the public when handling affairs.
