Germany's birth rate continues to decline.

The data released by the Federal Statistical Office of Germany on July 17th shows that the average number of children born per woman in Germany has once again decreased. The total fertility rate for the country in 2024 is 1.35, a 2% decrease from the previous year, with a total of 677,117 babies born. However, the rate of decline has significantly slowed compared to previous years, with Germany's fertility rate decreasing by 8% in 2022 and 7% in 2023.
