NVIDIA is driving RISC-V along with GPU to provide a more comprehensive software and hardware integrated solution.

At the 2025 RISC-V Global Summit, Frans Sijstermans, Vice President of Hardware Engineering at NVIDIA, stated that accelerated computing is NVIDIA's core business. Regardless of whether the underlying architecture is x86, ARM, or RISC-V, NVIDIA hopes to provide compatible support. He mentioned that through CUDA support, RISC-V servers can also leverage NVIDIA GPUs for efficient acceleration, thus providing a more comprehensive software and hardware integrated solution, ultimately realizing NVIDIA's vision of transitioning from software ecosystem dominance to software and hardware integration.
