McDonald's China: Accelerating the localization development of the supply chain, with over 90% of local procurement rate last year.

Reporters learned that on July 17, McDonald's China and 11 supplier partners made an appearance at the third Chain Expo. It was introduced that McDonald's China is accelerating the localization development of its supply chain. By 2024, McDonald's China's supply chain procurement volume will reach nearly 800,000 tons, covering over 400 kinds of food ingredients and raw materials. In terms of procurement amount, the local procurement rate exceeds 90%. So far, the number of McDonald's China restaurants has exceeded 7,100, and it is expected to open 1,000 new restaurants this year.
