Tencent announced in a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing: The board of directors hereby announces that on June 9, 2026 in New York time, the company entered into two subscription agreements: the first one with the USD note arranger, to issue a total principal amount of 2.45 billion USD notes according to the relevant plan; the second one with the RMB note arranger, to issue a total principal amount of 15 billion RMB notes according to the relevant plan. After deducting underwriting fees, discount and commissions, the expected net proceeds from the issuance of USD notes and RMB notes are approximately 2.43 billion USD and 149.4 billion RMB respectively. The company plans to use the net proceeds raised for general corporate purposes.
