According to reports, Tencent Holdings plans to raise nearly $4.7 billion through the issuance of long-term US dollar bonds and panda bonds, making it the company's largest bond financing since 2020. Confidential sources revealed that Tencent has launched a $2.45 billion US dollar bond issuance and completed the pricing of a RMB 15 billion panda bond. One source stated that the subscription size for the US dollar bond has exceeded $9.2 billion. According to sources, the funds raised through the bond issuance will be used for general corporate purposes, including refinancing and developing AI products and services.
