The People's Bank of China and the Central Bank of Brazil held the fourth China-Brazil Financial Strategic Cooperation Working Group Meeting.
On June 9, 2026, the fourth China-Pakistan Financial Strategic Cooperation Working Group Meeting was held, with Pan Gongsheng, Governor of the People's Bank of China, and Roberto Campos Neto, Governor of the Central Bank of Brazil, co-chairing the meeting. At the end of 2024, the leaders of China and Brazil held a meeting and agreed to establish the China-Pakistan Financial Strategic Cooperation Working Group. The People's Bank of China and the Central Bank of Brazil, as the leading units of the working group, have organized more than twenty rounds of meetings, comprehensively promoting financial cooperation in various fields between China and Pakistan. The meeting believes that the mechanism of the China-Pakistan Financial Strategic Cooperation Working Group has played an important role in building the ecosystem for the use of local currencies and financial services for the real economy, significantly enhancing the level of financial cooperation between the two countries. In the next step, the mechanism of the China-Pakistan Financial Strategic Cooperation Working Group will continue to play a strategic guiding and policy coordination role, jointly implement various cooperation results, and promote the continuous deepening of financial cooperation between the two countries.
