Guangdong: Strict control over the export of new cars under the guise of used cars.

The Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and other 11 departments have issued the "Guangdong Province Strengthening Measures for the Export Management of Second-hand Cars", which proposes strict control over new cars exported under the name of second-hand cars. For vehicles that have been registered for less than 180 days before applying for export, export enterprises are required to submit a "After-sales Maintenance Service Confirmation Letter" issued by the vehicle manufacturer, which includes information on the destination country, vehicle information, information on service providers, etc., and must be stamped with the manufacturer's official seal. Vehicles that cannot provide the above materials will not be granted an export permit.
