Yunnan Province launches a special campaign to investigate and rectify safety risks in coal mines.

The Energy Bureau of Yunnan Province and the Yunnan Branch of the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau issued a notice, deciding to immediately organize a special action to investigate and rectify the risks and hidden dangers of coal mine safety in the entire province, and issued the "Action Plan for In-depth Investigation and Rectification of Coal Mine Safety Risks in Yunnan Province". The work goals are to achieve full clearance of hidden working faces; effectively prevent falsification of safety monitoring data; comprehensively rectify the problem of falsely reporting and overcrowding of personnel entering the mine; comprehensively clear out illegal subcontracting and contracting; and address the weaknesses in gas governance.
