BYD Company: Being listed as a Chinese military enterprise will not affect the normal operation of our group.

BYD Company Limited announced that on June 8, 2026, the U.S. Department of Defense issued a notice designating Chinese military enterprises, including the company, as part of the Chinese military industry. Since the company is neither a Chinese military enterprise nor a military-civil fusion enterprise in the Chinese defense industry, the company believes that there is no justifiable reason for it to be included in this list. The Chinese military enterprise list is not a sanction list. Being included on this list will not affect the company's normal business operations, will not impact the company's business dealings with anyone, and the U.S. government procurement restrictions related to this list will not affect the company's operations. Furthermore, the Chinese military enterprise list does not restrict the company's securities trading activities.
