On June 9, 2026 at 16:23, the Zhuque-2 enhanced remote-six launch vehicle was launched from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Test Zone, successfully placing the Qianfan DTC01 satellite and the China Mobile 02 satellite into their designated orbit. This mission marks the 8th flight of the Zhuque-2 series launch vehicle. During this mission, the Zhuque-2 achieved an important technological improvement, using a new method for the separation of the first and second stages, replacing pyrotechnics with pneumatic push rods, enhancing safety and autonomous controllability. Additionally, the engines received two upgrades, utilizing 3D printing for integral formation and thrust adjustment devices to improve stability and durability. This successful launch signifies the full maturity of the Zhuque-2 enhanced rocket technology, entering mass production stage, with the potential for frequent launches in the future.
