Guangdong: Actively layout facilities for electric charging and swapping for heavy commercial vehicles and other commercial vehicles.

The Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission and other departments recently issued the "Guangdong Province Action Plan for the High-Quality Development of Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities", which proposes actively arranging charging and swapping facilities for heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Various regions will combine industry, transportation, logistics development, and vehicle promotion to study and promote the planning and construction of charging and swapping facilities for heavy-duty commercial vehicles based on the principle of linkage and mutual promotion of vehicle charging posts. Focusing on fixed routes for logistics distribution of heavy-duty commercial vehicles such as heavy trucks, in scenarios such as land behind port terminals, mining areas, container yards, large logistics and distribution centers, and industrial warehouses that use special engineering vehicles, planning and layout of charging and swapping facilities for heavy-duty commercial vehicles will be implemented to serve the application of electric heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Combining demand, a "mainline + node" electric heavy-duty commercial vehicle charging and swapping network will be constructed to support high-quality operators with investment capability and operational experience in participating in the construction and operation of charging and swapping facilities for heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
