Guangdong Province: Increase efforts to promote the construction of ultra-fast charging facilities of 360 kilowatts and above, as well as megawatt flash charging facilities of 1000 kilowatts and above.

Recently, the Development and Reform Commission of Guangdong Province and other departments issued the "Action Plan for High-Quality Development of Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities in Guangdong Province", which proposed accelerating the construction of a "high-power network" across the province. It aims to promote the popularization of high-power charging facilities with a single gun power of over 250 kilowatts, and increase efforts to promote the construction of ultra-fast charging facilities of 360 kilowatts and above, as well as megawatt flash charging facilities of 1000 kilowatts and above. Localities should strengthen organization and planning, focus on application scenarios such as "charge and go", adapt measures to local conditions, be moderately forward-looking, and scientifically layout high-power charging facilities for passenger vehicles, accelerate the construction of a high-power network for passenger vehicles and a supercharging network for commercial vehicles to support the province's "high-power network". By the end of 2027, the province will have added more than 10,000 high-power charging guns, and the number of supercharging stations in each city will not be less than the number of gas stations, achieving technological application and service quality iteration and upgrade.
