Guangdong: By the end of 2027, the province will have built more than 3 million charging facilities, meeting the charging needs of over 8 million new energy vehicles.

Recently, the Development and Reform Commission and other departments of Guangdong Province issued the "Action Plan for the High-Quality Development of Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities in Guangdong Province", which proposes to continuously innovate application scenarios, improve the charging network, enhance charging efficiency, optimize service quality, and innovate the industry ecosystem to build a high-quality charging facility system where super-fast charging, fast charging, and slow charging complement each other. This will promote the balanced development of charging facilities in the east, west, and north of Guangdong Province and the Pearl River Delta region, and facilitate the wider purchase and use of electric vehicles. By the end of 2027, the province will have built over 3 million charging facilities to meet the charging needs of over 8 million new energy vehicles; every county in the province will have a "super charging station" and the number of super charging stations will be no less than the number of gas stations.
