This meeting focuses on advancing climate resilience, protecting workers and communities, and implementing established financing commitments. Simon Stiell, the Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of the Convention, stated in his opening speech that addressing the global climate crisis is the most challenging and important challenge that humanity has ever faced.
