US President Donald Trump once again stated that progress has been made in ending the conflict in the Middle East, and Iran and Israel have agreed to temporarily halt mutual attacks. As a result, European natural gas prices have slightly decreased. The market remains concerned that if prices continue to remain high, it may be difficult to secure sufficient fuel supplies for the winter before the season begins. Currently, the natural gas flow through the Strait of Hormuz has dropped to extremely low levels. The European natural gas benchmark, the Dutch near-month futures price, fell by 0.3% to 49.70 euros per megawatt-hour.
