Russia announced shooting down 95 drones and destroying multiple military facilities in Ukraine.

The Russian Ministry of Defense released a report on the 8th stating that Russian air defense forces shot down 95 Ukrainian drones in multiple locations on that day, and Russian forces also destroyed multiple military infrastructure facilities belonging to Ukraine. According to the report released by the Russian Ministry of Defense through social media, from 14:00 to 20:00 Moscow time on the 8th, Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 95 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over several regions including the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, and Kursk regions in western Russia, as well as over the Black Sea. The Russian Ministry of Defense also stated that Russian forces destroyed multiple ammunition depots, fuel depots, transportation and power facilities used by the Ukrainian armed forces, as well as 139 temporary deployment points of Ukrainian military units and foreign mercenaries. In addition, the Southern Group of Russian Army forces took action that day and occupied a town in the Donetsk region.
