MTR Corporation (00066.HK): Tang Jiacheng resigns as an independent non-executive director of the company

The Intelligent Financial APP News, MTR Corporation (00066.HK) announced that after the conclusion of the 2026 Annual General Meeting: (a) Dr. Tang Jiacheng retired as an independent non-executive director of the company and will no longer be nominated as the chairman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee; (b) Ms. Wong Waiyi has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the company and has been appointed by the board of directors as a member of the Nomination Committee; (c) Mr. Wong Yijian has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the company and has been appointed by the board as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Finance and Investment Committee; (d) Ms. Wong Hing Yi, independent non-executive director, member of the Environmental and Social Responsibility Committee, and member of the Nomination Committee, has been appointed by the board as the chairman of the Nomination Committee.
