Acer Chairman and Taipei Computer Association Director Chen Chunsheng attended the Taipei International Computer Show pre-show forum on the 27th, and when discussing recent issues such as component shortages and price increases, he stated that CPU supply has become the main bottleneck in the industry chain. He predicts that the growth momentum of the PC market in the second half of the year will be weaker than in the first half; however, driven by price increases, the overall output value of the PC industry is expected to be higher than last year. Regarding Acer's own operations, Chen Chunsheng introduced that as of the end of April this year, the company's shipment volume still maintained double-digit year-on-year growth, and the revenue growth rate was even higher than the shipment growth rate. He also predicted that the demand for laptop computers in the second half of the year will weaken further.
