German bond yields briefly rise as Trump tariffs deemed illegal.

At the end of the European session on Friday, the yield on German 10-year government bonds fell by 0.5 basis points to 2.737%. At the same time as the US Supreme Court ruled Trump's tariffs illegal, the yield on German 10-year bonds rose from 2.734% to 2.749% at 23:00 Beijing time. It fell by a total of 1.8 basis points this week, trading in a range of 2.765% to 2.724%. The yield on 2-year German bonds rose by 0.5 basis points to 2.054%, increasing by a total of 1.7 basis points this week, trading in a range of 2.022% to 2.068%. The yield on 30-year German bonds fell by 0.7 basis points to 3.400%, decreasing by a total of 3.2 basis points this week. The spread between 2-year and 10-year German bond yields fell by 0.956 basis points to +68.217 basis points, decreasing by a total of 3.424 basis points this week, continuing to decline.
