Morgan Stanley: Trump's tariff reduction policy brings favorable factors to certain sectors.
Morgan Stanley analysts wrote in a report that the subsequent effects of the Supreme Court overturning the decision on President Trump's global tariffs are still unclear, and the government has indicated that it will seek other authorized sources to impose tariffs. However, these analysts predict that tariffs will generally decrease in the long term, and point out potential favorable factors for stocks that are less likely to be affected by a narrower tariff regime. They wrote that some sectors belonging to this category include cosmetics and personal care products from the European Union, as well as household goods from Canada.
