The first unmanned intelligent control system for gas turbine power generation in our country has been successfully put into operation.

Today, it was learned from China Huaneng that the country's first intelligent autonomous operation control system for gas turbine power generation has been successfully put into operation at the Huaneng Shanghai gas turbine power plant. This is the first time in China that the entire process of starting, grid connection, load regulation, and shutdown of thermal gas turbine units has been achieved without human intervention, marking the transition of China's thermal power generation technology from "traditional manual monitoring" to "intelligent autonomous operation." Compared to relying on operational personnel's experience and judgment in the past, the intelligent control system installed on the units this time is like equipping them with a precise "intelligent brain," which can automatically collect operational data, accurately assess equipment status, predict changes in advance, adjust control strategies proactively, and effectively avoid errors and risks caused by manual operations. The key operating parameters of the units during this trial operation reached a rate of 100% compliance, which will effectively accelerate the digitalization and intelligence transformation of the traditional energy industry.
