The Regulations on the Promotion of Private Economy in Fujian Province will be implemented starting from January 1st next year.

According to the "Fujian Release" news, the "Fujian Provincial Private Economy Promotion Ordinance" was passed by the 19th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th People's Congress of Fujian Province on November 27, 2025, and is now being announced. This ordinance will come into effect on January 1, 2026. The ordinance proposes to support private economic organizations in revitalizing their existing assets through property rights trading, mergers and reorganizations. It encourages and supports private economic organizations to participate in the reform and restructuring of state-owned enterprises, joint ventures, and mixed-ownership reforms through lawful methods such as capital injection, equity acquisition, subscription of convertible bonds, and equity replacement.
