"Chengdu-made" power lithium battery opens up a new mode of railway transport

On December 4th, the first trial train of Chengdu Power Lithium Battery Railway Transportation was launched at the Chengdu International Railway Port, marking the start of a new era for railway transportation of "Chengdu-made" power lithium batteries. The train, carrying power lithium batteries produced by Zhongchuang Innovation Aviation Technology Co., Ltd., departed from Chengdu Hua Tie Special Line of China Railway Eighth Bureau Group's Modern Logistics Co., Ltd. and headed towards Shanghai. This trial run also represents a collaboration between Qingbaijiang District and Longquanyi District of Chengdu City. In 2021, Zhongchuang Innovation Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. settled in Longquanyi District, ranking among the top in the country for installed capacity of power batteries. "By diversifying transportation modes through railway transportation, the company can reduce logistics costs by 20% to 30% once normalized," said a company spokesperson. Previously, the company mainly relied on road transportation for its power lithium batteries, but railway transportation offers greater capacity, higher safety and stability, and lower logistics costs.
