Chinatimes financial APP has learned that after the interest rate cuts totaling more than 100 basis points in this easing cycle, Federal Reserve officials are now considering where to stop cutting rates and finding that their differences are greater than ever before. Over the past year or so, Federal Reserve officials' forecasts for where interest rates should ultimately settle have diverged the most since at least 2012 (when the Federal Reserve began publishing such estimates). This has also exacerbated a rare public split over whether rates should be cut again next week and how to proceed afterwards.
