On December 2nd, CMB Financial Asset Investment Co., Ltd. officially opened for business. CMB Investment was approved for establishment on July 3, 2025, and received approval for operation on November 21. It is a financial asset investment company established by China Merchants Bank, and is one of the first domestically approved joint-stock bank-owned financial asset investment companies, with a registered capital of 15 billion yuan. According to reports, CMB Investment will focus on market-oriented debt-to-equity business and actively participate in regulated equity investment business pilot projects.
