Chen Guoji introduced the arrangements for the 2025 Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Legislative Council election.

The Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, today met with the Director of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau of the SAR Government, Erick Tsang Kwok-wai, to meet with the media and introduce the arrangements for the 2025 Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Legislative Council elections. Cheung Kin-chung stated that the Legislative Council elections scheduled for December 7 will proceed as planned, and the SAR Government will resume hosting the 8 election forums that were previously suspended, with the added inclusion of candidates' opinions on supporting residents affected by disasters.
