According to the latest data from Omdia, the PC market in China is expected to grow by 2% in the third quarter of 2025, reaching 11.3 million units. The shipment of desktop computers reached 3.3 million units, an 8% increase compared to the previous year, primarily driven by strong demand in the commercial sector, which saw a 9% increase in shipments. The shipment of laptops remained at 8 million units, basically unchanged from last year, mainly due to weakened consumer subsidies in this quarter. The tablet market continued to maintain strong momentum, with shipments increasing by 9% to 8.8 million units. Looking ahead, it is expected that by the end of 2025, the PC market in China will grow by 5% compared to the previous year, reaching 41.5 million units. The growth is fueled by robust consumer demand in the first half of the year and strong commercial procurement, particularly in the information technology and communications sector. The tablet market is expected to grow by 12% to 35 million units by the end of 2025, driven primarily by aggressive product launches and pricing strategies by domestic manufacturers.
