The Chenzhou City Public Security Bureau has found Peng and the hospital is organizing a medical team to do their best to save him. On December 2nd, a netizen posted that Peng had passed away. The reporter contacted the netizen, who claimed to be a friend of Peng, and said that Peng passed away at around 6 am on that day in the Intensive Care Unit of the Chenzhou City First People's Hospital after unsuccessful resuscitation, and the body had been sent to the funeral parlor. A person with knowledge from the Chenzhou City First People's Hospital confirmed that Peng did indeed pass away at around 6 am that day, saying "The dosage of poisoning was too high, exceeding the lethal dose many times over."
