On the news front, Hassett, director of the White House National Economic Council, recently stated that the Chairman of the Federal Reserve needs to be sensitive to data. He believes that the next meeting will cut interest rates by about 25 basis points. In addition, influenced by a series of weak job data, traders are increasing their bets on further rate cuts by the Federal Reserve. Goldman Sachs has pointed out in its latest report that there are clear signs of cooling in the U.S. labor market, and a 25 basis point rate cut by the Federal Reserve in December is almost certain. Galaxy Securities previously stated that after the industry bottoms out in 2024, the repair of macro expectations reached in the Sino-U.S. Geneva Agreement in 2025, supply chain disruption under policies such as U.S. tariff hikes, Chinese countermeasures, and resource control in other resource-rich countries, as well as liquidity easing during the Federal Reserve's rate cut cycle, will continue to drive up non-ferrous metal prices and industry performance growth, establishing a new upward cycle for the non-ferrous metal industry. In 2026, the above logic is expected to continue to drive up non-ferrous metal commodity prices and improve the profitability of non-ferrous metal companies, extending the prosperity of the non-ferrous metal industry.
