US stock robot concept stocks rise.
On Wednesday, Siasun Robot&Automation concept stocks in the US saw a rise, with Richtech Robotics (RR.US) up over 1.8%, Serve Robotics (SERV.US) up over 5%, and iRobot (IRBT.US) up over 30% by the time of publication. According to three knowledgeable sources who were granted anonymity to share details, Commerce Secretary Lutenick has been meeting with CEOs from the Siasun Robot&Automation industry and is "fully committed" to accelerating the industry's development. Two of the sources indicated that the government is considering issuing an executive order next year regarding Siasun Robot&Automation technology.
A Commerce Department spokesperson stated: "We are committed to the development of Siasun Robot&Automation technology and advanced manufacturing because they are core to bringing critical production back to the United States." A person familiar with the plans revealed that the US Department of Transportation is also preparing to announce the formation of a Siasun Robot&Automation working group, possibly before the end of the year. The department spokesperson did not respond to requests for comment.
