AI trade pullback combined with intensifying product competition: SK Hynix (SKHY.US) leveraged ETF liquidated just three months after landing on U.S. markets
Zhitong Finance APP has learned that two U.S. leveraged ETFs linked to SK Hynix (SKHY.US)the Tradr 2X Long SK Hynix Daily ETF and the Tradr 2X Short SK Hynix Daily ETFwill complete liquidation around November 12, only about three months after their listing on July 28. In a statement, issuer Tradr attributed the delisting to "extremely intense competition among the relevant ETFs" and stressed that it does not believe there is any problem with SK Hynix as the underlying asset. However, the brevity of the products' lifespan and the dramatic shrinkage of their assets are themselves a market footnote more honest than any statement: as the AI narrative shifts from "buy everything" to an "accounting moment," those leveraged tools born to amplify intraday volatility are the first to lose the soil for their existence.
