The Yemeni Houthi armed forces issued a statement saying that in response to Saudi aggression against Yemen and yesterday's Saudi attacks in Sanaa and multiple locations across Yemen that killed and wounded dozens, the Yemeni armed forces carried out three special military operations using dozens of ballistic missiles. The first round targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh. The second round struck King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, targeting hangars, ammunition depots, drone command centers, and multiple important facilities. The third round struck the Southern Naval Base of the Border Guard in Jizan, causing Saudi military casualties. The Houthis stated that the Yemeni armed forces will continue to defend the country and its people. The armed forces once again warned international and regional airlines, staff, and travelers to avoid the flight routes of Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport, which is now unsafe; except for the airspace over the holy sites of Mecca and Medina, all other Saudi airspace is at risk. The Houthis said they will continue to launch operations deep into Saudi territory, insisting on countering blockade with blockade and escalation with escalation, and will continue to strike Saudi military forces until the aggression stops and the blockade on Yemen is lifted.
