The Chinese Mission to the EU introduces China's green development and China-EU green cooperation.
The Chinese Mission to the European Union recently hosted the fourth session of its "China Lecture" series in Strasbourg, France, inviting Xie Zhenhua, former Special Envoy of China for Climate Change Affairs, to give a special lecture on "China's Green Development and China-EU Green Cooperation." Xie Zhenhua provided a systematic introduction to the climate change and environmental challenges currently facing the world, offered an in-depth interpretation of China's green transition achievements and its governance practices in climate, energy and other fields, outlined the broad prospects for China-EU green cooperation, and answered questions from the audience on site. Cai Run, Head of the Chinese Mission to the European Union, said that green is a defining feature of China-EU cooperation. China hopes to work with the EU in the same direction, adhere to the positioning of partnership, uphold the main tone of cooperation, jointly address global challenges such as climate change, achieve complementary strengths and mutual benefit at a higher level, and inject more momentum into the development of China-EU relations.
