NDRC: Since the National Conference on the Service Industry was held, 91 pilot programs for value-added telecommunications services operated by newly established foreign-funded enterprises have been added.

On September 29, the National Development and Reform Commission held a special press conference to brief on progress in expanding and upgrading the service sector. Li Chunfang, deputy director of the Industrial Development Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that since the National Service Sector Conference was held, 91 new pilot foreign-invested enterprises have been approved to operate value-added telecommunications services, bringing the total to 221. Overall, efforts to expand and upgrade the service sector across the country are progressing vigorously with a positive momentum. In the next stage, we will strengthen the guarantee of all production factors, optimize policy supply, implement tiered and categorized scheduling, and deeply and solidly advance the expansion and upgrading of the service sector, so as to ensure policies are implemented effectively and deliver benefits to enterprises and the people.
