The "valuation reset" of the Magnificent Seven is nearing its end! Muse and Astra ignite the "AI FOMO trade," a major tech stock rally is gathering momentum.
Zhitong Finance APP has learned that after the Nasdaq 100 index hit a new high last week, Wall Street financial giant JPMorgan Chase began to follow the bullish pace on U.S. tech stocks set by giants such as Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, and Yardeni Research, which also partly drove institutions and retail investors to increasingly focus on buy-the-dip strategies during the U.S. stock market pullback on Monday. JPMorgan believes that the overall valuation adjustment of the seven largest U.S. tech giants, which carry a high weight in the U.S. stock market (namely the Magnificent Seven, Mag 7), may have largely been completed, and earnings growth is expected to once again become the main force supporting stock prices; JPMorgan stated that the ratio of the Magnificent Seven's forward price-to-earnings over the next 12 months relative to the broader market has fallen to about one standard deviation below the historical median, at a ten-year low.
