Recently, there has been a new development in the patent litigation between Bambu Lab and the American 3D printing company Stratasys, which has lasted for more than two years. On September 18, a jury in the Marshall Division of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas ruled that a Bambu Lab-related company infringed four Stratasys 3D printing patents and found willful infringement, awarding approximately US$27.6 million in damages, equivalent to about RMB 190 million. However, the court has not further increased the damages based on the jury's finding of "willful infringement." Bambu Lab can still file post-trial motions and proceed to appeal, so the current ruling does not mean the final outcome of the patent dispute between the two sides. According to information learned from Bambu Lab, the company does not agree with the jury's verdict. Under relevant law, Bambu Lab has the right to seek post-trial review and file an appeal, and the company will exercise these rights in accordance with the law to protect its lawful rights and interests through proper legal procedures.
