Titanium dioxide leader raises prices; 2 concept stocks see profits double
According to industry media reports, on September 11, titanium dioxide leader Lomon Billions Group took the lead in issuing a price increase letter, adjusting the prices of titanium dioxide products. Among them, the domestic market price was raised by 700 yuan per ton, and the international market price was raised by 100 US dollars per ton. Subsequently, more than 20 companies including Annada, Ticon Chemical, and Dawn Titanium Industry successively followed up with price increase letters, with increases consistent with those of Lomon Billions Group. The sixth round of collective price increases for titanium dioxide this year has officially begun. The sixth round of titanium dioxide price increases is driven by multiple factors. First, raw material prices such as sulfuric acid on the cost side remain high, and enterprise ex-factory prices have fallen to the cost line; second, the market is sluggish, and some enterprises have limited or suspended production, resulting in a substantial contraction in market supply and a reduction in low-priced goods; third, the "Golden September and Silver October" period is the traditional peak season for the industry, and enterprises are attempting to stabilize market confidence through collective price increases. In terms of net profit scale, Lomon Billions Group, Ticon Chemical, and Anning Co., Ltd. ranked in the top three, at 844 million yuan, 420 million yuan, and 341 million yuan, respectively; Vanadium & Titanium and Tianyuan Group followed closely, with net profit attributable to the parent company both exceeding 200 million yuan. In terms of net profit changes, Tianyuan Group and Lubei Chemical achieved doubled year-on-year growth in net profit attributable to the parent company in the first half of the year, with increases of 1157.84% and 119.46%, respectively; Jinpu Titanium Industry, Ticon Chemical, and Huiyun Titanium Industry followed closely, with increases of 92.33%, 61.93%, and 46.21%, respectively; Vanadium & Titanium and Annada achieved a year-on-year turnaround from loss to profit.
