The announcement stated that the loss attributable to shareholders after tax was mainly due to the Group's share of a revaluation loss of approximately HK$209 million on the office property South Island Place held by a joint venture. The net revaluation loss on investment properties is non-cash in nature and therefore does not affect the Group's operating cash flow. The Group's overall financial position remains sound.
