DUIBA (01753) surged over 8% in early trading. As of press time, it rose 7.32% to HK$0.66. On the news front, DUIBA announced a share donation plan by its controlling shareholder to the listed company's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Xiaoliang Holding, under the company's founder, has formally signed a gift agreement to transfer 121 million company shares, representing 11.21% of the company's current issued share capital, to employee share award platform Kewei Holding free of charge. All these shares will be used for employee incentives. Based on public information, this donation may be the largest founder-to-ESOP donation by proportion of total share capital in the Hong Kong stock market to date. Driven by an AI technology-powered high-growth business strategy, the employee incentive platform has committed that future additional incentive plans will primarily serve the talent incentive needs for the development of AI businesses, including the AI short drama business. This gift arrangement reflects the confidence and support of DUIBA Group's major shareholder in the company's long-term development, aiming to further strengthen the long-term orientation of core talent, thereby helping to achieve the company's medium- to long-term strategic goals.
