China Construction Bank Corporation (00939) announced that, with the approval of relevant regulatory authorities, it has recently issued the China Construction Bank Corporation 2026 Total Loss Absorption Capacity Non-Capital Bonds (Second Phase) (Bond Connect) in the national interbank bond market, and the issuance was completed on August 24, 2026. The total issuance scale for this bond series is 50 billion yuan. This bond series includes two varieties: Variety One has an issuance scale of 35 billion yuan, with a fixed interest rate for a 4-year term, and includes a conditional call option for the issuer at the end of the third year, with a coupon rate of 1.68%; Variety Two has an issuance scale of 15 billion yuan, with a fixed interest rate for a 6-year term, and includes a conditional call option for the issuer at the end of the fifth year, with a coupon rate of 1.80%. The funds raised from this bond issuance, after deducting issuance costs, will be used in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory approvals to enhance the bank's total loss absorption capacity.
