As of August 24, the Health Family Guardian Fund has distributed a total of 6.76 million yuan to 161 families served by agents in 56 cities across the country.
Since February 24, when Beike co-founders Peng Yongdong and Shan Yigang donated stocks to establish the Health Home Bei Guardian Fund, it has been in operation for six months. How many critical illness agents have received these funds? On August 24, Beike (02423) again released data regarding the distribution of the Health Home Bei Guardian Fund. As of that day, the fund has disbursed a total of 6.76 million yuan to the families of 161 agent service providers across 56 cities nationwide. Among them, five agents have claimed more than 200,000 yuan, and an additional 25 agents have claimed over 100,000 yuan. The remaining 131 service providers, including shop owners, regional managers, business circle managers, painters, and bricklayers, have successively received 20,000 yuan in critical illness support. Among the beneficiaries listed in this announcement, 101 recipients of the guardian fund are also members of the Beike "Green Plan," with 11 service providers having already received combined protection of "Guardian Fund + Green," totaling 809,414 yuan. (Photos: From the official WeChat account of "Beike Group") While disclosing the progress of the guardian fund, Beike also compiled a health report for industry service providers based on health data accumulated from the Green Plan and the Health Home Bei Guardian Fund to remind service providers to pay attention to their own health. The data shows that service providers are affected by as many as 449 different diseases, characterized by "a few high incidence rates and many dispersed cases." In terms of disease types, diseases related to malignant tumors account for nearly 20% of the cases; among them, thyroid cancer, breast cancer, acute myocardial infarction, liver cancer, and cerebral hemorrhage are the top five critical illnesses in terms of claims. Behind the data is the genuine health situation of service providers, reflecting the initial intent behind the establishment of the guardian fund. It is understood that the "Health Home Bei Guardian Fund" was jointly initiated by Beike co-founders Peng Yongdong and Shan Yigang on February 24 of this year, providing protection for the service providers themselves without the need for separate enrollment or payment; it automatically takes effect after six months of employment. In April 2025 and February 2026, the two co-founders announced donations of 19 million shares to support the medical security and educational needs of service providers and their families in the housing industry and to set up this project. The "Health Home Bei Guardian Fund" includes three sub-projects. The "Life Emergency Fund" is designated for scenarios involving sudden critical illness diagnosis; upon diagnosis and submission of complete documentation, 20,000 yuan can be quickly claimed within two working days. This emergency fund differs from traditional insurance reimbursement models in that it is positioned as "life-saving assistance," providing timely support to families in crisis. The other two projects offer basic protection for special circumstances: employees and service providers in the housing industry who are completely unable to work or deceased can receive a one-time assistance grant of 100,000 yuan as "Family Warmth Support"; beneficiaries with children can also receive one-time educational support of between 20,000 to 100,000 yuan based on the schooling stage of their children to help the family through difficulties. According to reports, the beneficiary group of the Health Home Bei Guardian Fund includes over 500,000 service providers in the housing industry, including eligible brand owners, shop owners, agents, cleaners, maintenance workers, and more. The "Green Plan" is a program launched by Beike in 2008, designed specifically to offer disease and accident protection support for Beike service providers and their family members, with a cumulative assistance limit of 2 million yuan, and it is not in conflict with the Health Home Bei Guardian Fund, allowing for combined applications.
