FIRST PACIFIC (00142) announced MPIC's performance for the first half of 2026. The net profit attributable to equity holders dropped by 5% from 17 billion pesos in the first half of 2025 to 16.2 billion pesos in the same period of 2026, primarily due to the gains realized from the sale of Philippine Coastal Storage & Pipeline Corporation in 2025. Excluding non-recurring income and expenses, MPIC achieved a core net profit of 16 billion pesos in the first half of 2026, up 6% from 15 billion pesos in the same period last year.
