TIANLI HOLDINGS (00117) rose over 8%, with a current increase of 8.22%, priced at HKD 3.16, with a trading volume of HKD 22.32 million. On the news front, recent media reports indicate that in the MLCC industry, some clients, in order to secure sufficient material supply, have been willing to pay two to three times more to major passive component manufacturers such as Yageo and Murata, creating a bidding atmosphere where higher bidders win, highlighting the increasing tightness in MLCC supply and demand. Galaxy Securities states that the market for passive component MLCCs remains robust. The industry leader in MLCCs has slightly expanded production to stock up on high-capacity products, but the release of production capacity will take time; while demand for high-capacity MLCC products is strong, the limited supply situation is unlikely to ease in the short term. In July of this year, TIANLI HOLDINGS announced plans to change its name to "Yuyang Holdings (Group) Co., Ltd." This name change aims to better align with the group's future business development direction, enhancing the continuous growth of the multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) business and the Yuyang brand's market position in the global industry chain.
