On August 11, the Hong Kong dollar interbank offered rates showed mixed developments, with the one-month HIBOR related to mortgage loans reported at 2.61399%, up 0.072 basis points; the three-month HIBOR, which reflects the cost of bank funding, remained unchanged at 2.90000%. The overnight rate was reported at 2.20357%, down 4.619 basis points; the one-week HIBOR decreased by 0.589 basis points to 2.37607%, while the two-week rate rose by 0.071 basis points to 2.47607%. The two-month HIBOR remained unchanged at 2.80000%. In terms of long-term rates, the six-month HIBOR remained unchanged at 3.17679%, and the one-year rate also stayed the same at 3.50000%.
