Data from the Macao Statistics and Census Service shows that the overall residential property price index for the second quarter of 2026 is 192.4, an increase of 1.9% compared to the first quarter. The index for completed residential units (205.0) and residential property under construction (245.1) rose by 1.9% and 2.0%, respectively.
According to data from the Macao Statistics and Census Service, the overall residential property price index in the second quarter of 2026 was 192.4, an increase of 1.9% from the first quarter. The index for spot residential properties (205.0) and residential property presales (245.1) rose by 1.9% and 2.0%, respectively. In the spot index, the Macau Peninsula (195.3) and Cotai area (244.7) increased by 1.9% and 1.8% quarter-on-quarter. By age of the property, the residential property price indices for properties aged 5 years and under and those aged 6 to 10 years increased by 3.8% and 2.0%, respectively, while those aged 11 to 20 years fell by 2.3%. According to unit usable area, the price index for properties below 50 square meters rose by 3.2% quarter-on-quarter, and that for properties between 75 and 99.9 square meters also increased by 2.3%. Compared to the same quarter last year, the overall residential property price index fell by 1.9%, with the Macau Peninsula (190.6) and Cotai area (199.7) seeing declines of 1.7% and 2.4%, respectively.
